5 Bollywood songs shot in Jaipur | 100 years of Indian Cinema

If its song and dance and Jaipur city does not feature in it then we would say ‘something is missing’. Over the last century, many directors have shot many a songs in the romantic monuments of Jaipur city.  We have listed the best five Bollywood songs that are shot in Jaipur.

Gulabi – Shuddh Desi Romance (2013)

The movie has been completely set in Rajasthan with the protagonist being a tourist guide in Jaipur. Various forms of the colorful state are shown in the title song of film that was shot various sites of Jaipur like Nahargarh Fort and Amer fort (at Maotha Lake). It was for the first time that any production house was granted permission to shoot at Raj Mandir, the oldest art deco theatre.

Paathshaala – Rang De Basanti (2006)

Khalbali – Rang De Basanti (2006)

Both the above songs were shot in the Bawari (Stepwell) at Nahargarh Fort which stands on the edge of the Aravali Hills, overlooking the pink city of Jaipur. Because of the popularity of the movie, the point has since being called as Rang De Basanti Point. The point can be directly reached using the spiral road (the back entry) to the fort.

Dum Mast Mast – Garv (2004)

Shot at Charan Mandir which is on the way to Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur.

Bholi Bhali Ladki – Sabse Bada Khiladi (1995)
