What is the place all about?
The 1km long winding road leads up to the Nahargarh Fort. Build during the days of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in the 18th century, this road was frequently used by the care takers of the fort to make sure that it doesn’t run out of supplies. The road ends at the back gate of Nahargarh Fort. Even today, people use the road to commute. It is the life line of most of the hawkers at the Nahargarh Fort. They take this route to reach to the fort before the it opens for the tourist. It saves them on petrol and earn some extra time to set up their shop.

The starting point of the exploration can be the tip of the Nahargarh road (near Chandpol) towards Nahargarh Fort from Purani Basti. The exact address is Narghard Rd, Krishna Nagar, Brahmpuri, Jaipur.
